![]() ![]() Terrific and extremely powerful brand-new FREE Italian app designed to manage and protect users' passwords for programs, emails and Internet accounts. * (Portable) Sicurpas Professional 4.0 (=> Cool FREE brand-new Italian App) Save | CancelĪ password manager worth 20 BUCKS with NO browser integration?Ĭome on.MUST BE A JOKE.can't stop laughing.LOL!! If you need a simple *database* to record lists of stuff, this is not a bad alternative especially if you want to keep that stuff away from prying eyes. You can read Schneier's ACTUAL comments about Blowfish, for yourself, on Blowfish has NOT been "deprecated" and if Schneier has said that, it is news to Schneir's OWN website. Third, it seems the clown who is slandering blowfish is back again. IF you need a relational database to maintain your Christmas list, you need to get a life. Second, it IS a database, a *flat-file* database, meaning that it has no relational capability. According to their website, Ashraf is wrong and there IS browser integration (though I've not used it personally): "Aside from Data Guardian's easy to use Keychain integration* to autofill passwords on web sites.". Thank you!!! Save | CancelĮither I'm not interpreting their product information correctly or nobody here has bothered to read it themselves before driving hard to the criticism hole:įirst, this isn't a password manager but it can be used as such. Most never say this, Thank You Giveaway Of The Day for your tireless, consistent hard work by giving us the unique opportunity to sample software on a daily basis. Software, that may be ineffective for my everyday uses, but that has some quality i haven't thought of and i go looking for an alternative with that quality. I for one appreciate Giveaway Of The Day for obtaining new software for us to enjoy. I wish the yes/no system was removed completely from the site. It's sad a company like Giveaway Of The Day tries to obtain a new software everyday, just to have the same "commenters" slam how ineffective the software is to that particular user and almost go so far as to slam Giveaway for posting such a "useless" software. Seems to be MOST of the commenters who judge too harshly, should be judged themselves and step back from the computer and go.OUTSIDE. Yet if a comment is positive, or trying to look on the brighter side it will get TOMS of "no". I do enjoy users who post about the software in a very harsh, almost violent way it will get TONS of "yes". PS: any mentioning of a TRUE alternative with the SAME functionality, but still supported would be highly appreciated. well thats only one of its endless usage possibilities. Add the "Browser" to it, burn it all on a CD and give it away to your friends. Imagine you create a Freeware database containing all Documentation in a well sorted manner, all installer files and any additional information whatsoever. (Basically the same as the Database tool with the edit functions taken off.) It comes with a free shareable "browsing tool". Students have used it to bring a complete reference work under one hood, to end up with a single file in the end. "Data Guardian is a secure database application. In other words, thats what comes up in my mind when i read a sentence like (most likely workin like a explorer tree) It has its own hirarchical content management. It has its own integrated richtext editor, supporting image or whatever else integration. (Text, any Doc Format, any archive format or image. Its a "everything taking" Database System. If you google it you find enough pages still offering the download. The name is "Remlap KnowledgeBase V2.21" (Freeware ofcourse.) To me its still a absolute unique and genious program ! Its outdated and not supported anymore, even its website doesnt exist anymore. Sounds unusual but i want to start with its cons first: ![]()
